Phantasy Star Collection for the Game Boy Advance is a compilation of the first three titles in the classic sci-fi role-playing series originally released for the Sega Master System and Genesis. Released in North America in 2002 and Europe in 2003, it allows players to experience the foundations of the Phantasy Star universe in a portable format.
Games Included
- Phantasy Star I: Follow Alis Landale on a quest across the three planets of the Algo Solar System to defeat the tyrant King Lassic. This game is notable for its innovative first-person 3D dungeons.
- Phantasy Star II: Set 1,000 years later, government agent Rolf investigates why the Mother Brain computer system is malfunctioning and causing "biomonsters" to appear.
- Phantasy Star III: Generations of Doom: A unique entry where the story spans three generations. Your choice of whom the main character marries determines which descendant you play as in the next generation.

- True to Originals: The games are faithful ports rather than remakes, retaining the original turn-based combat and 8-bit/16-bit aesthetic.
- Screen Adjustments: The graphics were slightly tweaked and resized to fit the GBA's smaller screen resolution.
